Abstract
A pawful of dollars is a short movie about three bears robbing the Bank of New York. When shooting in a green screen studio we could create a story that can take place anywhere, and therefore we decided to make a short movie about three bears robbing the Bank of New York.
A pawful of dollars received the judges' price at the film festival "Guldsvanen" and got passed on and chosen to compete at "Novemberfilmfestivalen" which is an annual film festival in Sweden for young film makers.
Course contents
This course will examine several films to explore the tricks of the trade. We will examine contemporary films, which use techniques that have been taught throughout the programme. The guest lecturers from industry will represent different stages of the SFX production ranging from research and development to compositing of final sequences. The learning outcomes of this course are as follows:
- Basic knowledge in sound and video techniques
- Practical production work
- Advanced post production including green screen
- Project steering of complex productions.
- Realisation of a personal video project
